I worked in a Japanese kindergarten for eight years before teaching piano in the UK and working in a local school.
My approach to education is to communicate closely with parents to develop their children’s potential to the fullest. This includes opening up the children’s minds and bodies through trips, rhythmic activities, arts and crafts, experiments and presentations to develop not only their IQ (Intelligence Quotient) but also their EQ (Emotional Intelligence Quotient) which measures their ability to lead a rounded life.
The way I’ve written this might seem quite grand, but actually, the children in kindergarten call me their “Silly Sensei”. The children I teach are honest, cute and have endless possibilities, and I have a lot of fun and laughter with them.
